At KCM Travel, we handle all your travel requirements including domestic and international travel. We book airfares, accommodation, transfers, cruises, rail travel, car hire and tours. We are also able to provide you with travel insurance, foreign currency and help you obtain your visas as required. We strive to provide personalised service.
All clients are given my mobile telephone number and can access me by phone, email or facebook 24 hours a day in an emergency. They are assured that if they need my assistance whilst away, they can contact me.
With the deregulation of the travel industry in July, 2014, we applied for ATAS accreditation and this was approved, in addition to being a member of AFTA. I felt it was important to be part of a buying group so I joined the Independent Travel Group. This gives us the ability to access the best deals and support with airfares, accommodation and wholesalers.

I have been in the travel industry for over 30 years, starting at Heidelberg Travel. I then spent 20 years working for Traveland and then 10 years at Harvey World Travel, full and part time, whilst I also raised my family. During this time, I visited many wonderful destinations around the world. Having built a client base, I decided to open my own business in 2013, KCM Travel. The business has gone from strength to strength, and I now have Kylie Hannam, Karina Sharp, Andrea Grant and Danielle Burrough on board.

In 1995 my husband was offered a transfer to New York on a 2 year contract so we moved there with 2 school aged children. A condition of the visa entry was that I was not permitted to work. I enrolled in a New Jersey college and completed a travel and tourism course. On returning back to Australia I applied for a position as a travel consultant at a travel agency in Diamond Creek and was employed there for 16 years. During that time I had the opportunity to visit many places and gain valuable experience including USA, Europe, Asia, Middle East and South Pacific islands.
In 2013 I changed employment and now work as a Senior consultant at KCM Travel. I have my own client base and enjoy working part time in the office and from home. I recently experienced a 14 day Australian Pacific Tours European river cruise and a week in Barcelona, which both my husband and I enjoyed immensely.
Starting out at Traveland 18 years ago, I have always had a passion for travel and couldn’t wait to take off overseas from a young age. After working for a few years in the retail sector, I moved overseas to Edinburgh working in corporate travel on the Royal Bank of Scotland account for Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Upon leaving the UK, I made way home slowly travelling throughout UK, Europe, Egypt, Asia and most of Australia.
After returning to Australia, I stayed in Corporate Travel working at HRG Australia for another 3 years until starting my own family. I have been back in retail travel part-time for the last 9 years and have recently started at KCM Travel. During the years I have travelled to some wonderful places, including my favorites being the Greek Islands, Scotland, Thailand, Vietnam and Laos.
